The Rotary Club of Twin Falls is sponsoring its First Annual Ice Cream Funday event to be held in City Park in Twin Falls, ID Saturday, June 18th from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in conjunction with Art in the Park.
Cloverleaf Creamery worked with local companies to create their own unique ice cream flavors which will be judged by the public. The winning ice cream flavor will be featured as Cloverleaf Creamery’s July Flavor of the month! There is also an award for the best ice cream name.
“For anyone who loves ice-cream, this is the Event for them. This is the “Iron Chef” of ice cream because there will be flavors no one has ever tried before!” And what could be better than eating ice cream and raising money for charity at the same time? said Jim Ponzo, President of the Rotary Club of Twin Falls.
The Ice Cream Funday’s participants are: Ataraxis Accounting & Advisory Services; D.A. Davidson & Co.; D.L. Evans; First Federal; Foster Productions; Freedom Auto Finders; Idaho Power; New Leaf Properties; Pipeco Inc.; St. Edward’s Catholic School; Stephan, Kvanig, Stone & Trainor; St. Luke’s Magic Valley; Twin Falls Insurance Restoration; Walmart; Worst, Fitzgerald & Stover.
The Ice Cream Funday will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at City Park in conjunction with Art in the Park; Admission is $8.00 per adult and $4.00 for Kids 11 & under. In addition to the ice cream tasting, there will be the other activities provided by “Art in the Park’ such as music, kids activities, food vendors and art exhibits. So it will be a great family day.
All proceeds will benefit both local charities and Rotary International Polio Plus Project. This fundraiser is sponsored by the Twin Fall’s Rotary Club.
