PAST (PRINT) ISSUES

Many readers enjoyed our print magazine. In fact, some of you might still have old copies still sitting on your coffee tables today.

Many of our past stories are timeless, so we’ve decided to re-format them and post them online for you to enjoy again – or perhaps for the very first time.

You’ll notice something different about the old archived stories online. Since we were working with limited space in the print editions, some of our best photos had to be left out. Not anymore! With the new online format, you might be surprised to find fresh photos that you never saw in the print versions.

The Premiere Issue of Southern Idaho Living arrived in May of 2007!

Southern Idaho Living is a brand-new bi-monthly publication celebrating the people, places and events that make this region a great place to live, work and play!

In every issue, we will provide a wide array of stories, including in-depth features on interesting people doing amazing things, tips for gardening, cooking and decorating, family travel destinations, events, and things to do. We will revisit the area’s rich history, as well as look toward a promising future. Every issue will celebrate the best of southern Idaho within its pages.

The Premiere Issue features an in-depth cover story on local country music entertainer Johnny U. We also take you racing with Bobby Latham III, the 2006 Magic Valley Speedway champion, and we go fishing with pro bass fisherman Brandon Craner of Buhl.

Also in this issue, naturopathy expert Brenda Grogan of Twin Falls teaches about healing the mind, body and spirit. In addition, we provide tips for summer barbequing on the Snake River, getting your fruit trees ready for the season, decorating your kitchen, and much more!

The July-August issue of Southern Idaho Living was an exciting one!

As we traveled from Rupert to Glenns Ferry for our cover story, stopping to meet folks who make their home on the Snake River, we rediscovered the beauty of southern Idaho’s main waterway. We also discovered that people’s reasons for living on the river are varied, except for on one aspect: Sharing it with friends and family.
Also in this issue, you will find tips from our local expert chefs, decorators, gardeners and health professionals. There is so much to do and see here in southern Idaho and we encourage you to get out and rediscover it for yourself this summer!
