We moved into our Declo home the day after Thanksgiving 2004. During this time of year, I reflect on all the good memories we’ve made here. Of all the things I am thankful for, living in southern Idaho is high on my list – right there with good health and a happy family.

I’m also grateful to bring you this magazine every other month. The best part of my work is meeting the incredible people who love southern Idaho as much as I do. I’ll never forget the first time I met Larry Evans, our very own Santa Claus. His tender heart and enthusiastic “ho ho ho” just makes you want to be a kid again. I’ve also enjoyed meeting some of our readers and I am grateful that so many of you enjoy reading this magazine as much as we enjoy producing it.

And now here we are – at the end of 2007. As you sit in your favorite chair, turn off the cell phone, sip a hot drink and turn the pages of this issue, remember to follow the flow of nature and slow down! Be thankful for all the good in your life. Enjoy the holidays with your family and be grateful you live, work and play in southern Idaho!
