Minico District 4 Champions

The Minico boys basketball team is on an historic run.

For the first time in 23 years, Minico has won a District championship. The Spartans have a 22-1 record and are headed to the state tournament for the first time in 22 years.

Minico’s team, coached by Mike Graefe, consists of 10 seniors who have been working for this moment since they first picked up a basketball. This team is defined by its dedication, cohesiveness and hard-nosed defense. They’re ranked number one in the state and hope to bring home a state title on March 5.
